End of season and tryout schedule

JAMZ Nationals
I want to give a big shoutout to our competition team!  There were many great times and hard times this weekend but what came through is the heart of this team.  I could not be any more proud of all of you.  You are all champions in my book and so much more!

Cedar City Basketball Tournament
I am so sad for our basketball teams!  It is really rough that they were not able to proceed to the state tournament.  I am also sad for us because this trip is always a fun bonding experience for cheer.
Judy is the accountant for the school and she is out of town until the end of the week.  I will not be able to make any reimbursement of Cedar City money until next week.  There are three scenarios for reimbursement.  If you still have an outstanding balance with either JD Cheer or UXC the money will go towards paying that debt.  If you are a senior that is all paid up I will have Judy cut your parents a check. If you are planning on trying out for cheer again I can put the money towards your first cheer payment.  Friday I will hand out an invoice to everyone showing their payment history and where they stand.  You can let me know on Friday what your parents would like and I will take care of it next week.

There is no practice this week because we are not going to the tournament but there will be a mandatory team meeting this Friday right after school.  I will send out a groupme with the location.

A look at the schedule going forward
I am going to try and get tryout packets out by the end of next week.  Please promote cheer to everyone you can.  It really is all of you that can make the team grow in numbers.  Bigger numbers means cooler performances and less time commitment if we are able to split into smaller squads at times. Many of you had no experience before trying out.  Please let potential members know that it is okay to be new to cheer.  Think about all the reasons you like being a cheerleader and spread the word.
