4/22/19 - 4/28/19

I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter break!
We are excited to get started this week!

Wednesday, April 24, Practice is from 5:30-8pm in the Aux Gym.  Wear your favorite color!  We will work on motion and jump technique, start cleaning up the tryout material, and work on setting stunt groups.  Please make sure you have reviewed and know the tryout material.  :-)

Friday, April 26, Tumbling @ Utah Xtreme Cheer from 5-7pm.  We will do rotations working on tumbling and stunting. Cost is $10.  If you are paying with a check please have it made out to UXC.  They also except cards. Before Friday you must make sure the online waiver for Utah Xtreme Cheer is completed. If you are a returner or you attended our pre-tryout tumbling you do not need to do it again. Please go to Utah Xtreme Cheer, scroll down till you see waiver highlighted in blue, click on it and have your parent complete the waiver.  After it is complete they will send an email to confirm.  You must confirm through that email. UXC will not allow you to participate until it is complete.

A look ahead at next week!
Monday, April 29, Varsity Uniform fitting @ 4:30pm in the Faculty Center. Your first payment of $250.00 is due. Please make checks out to JD Cheer.  If you would like to pay by card, please go to the finance office before April 29th to make the payment. Thank you!

Friday, May 3, No Practice!
Congratulations to Coach Isabelle on graduating from the U of U!

Saturday, May 4, Mandatory State of Utah Safety Clinic.  All State of Utah cheerleaders and coaches must attend a clinic in the spring to be eligible to cheer!  We are loading a bus for park City High School at 9:45am.  The clinic runs from 11am-2pm.  We will have lunch as a team in Park City following the clinic. We ask that you make every effort to attend with the team.  If you have a conflict and there is no way you can reschedule I can give you a list of other dates and times to attend.  It is a short two week window with locations across the state.
