Just a heads up

The weekend (Feb. 21-24) that the competition team competes in Las Vegas there are playoff games for both boys and girls basketball.  Non Comp team members will cover both games.  Coach Kara and Coach Kenadee will be in charge.
The next weekend ( Feb. 28-March 3) is the State Basketball Tournament in Cedar City.  It is a two or three night trip that will have a cost involved. The team will need to cover the cost of lodging, tickets, food, and a room for the bus driver.  It also requires the schools permission to excuse you for those days.  I will send a roster to the counselors and Mr. Salts for approval.  If your grades are not good or you have to many absences they will not allow you to travel with the team and cheer at the tournament.  Make sure you get assignments turned in and that you are attending school. More specific details to come over the next week.

Game assignment for this week=1/29 = Boys game = Seniors, Juniors, Comp, Ziara, and Karla . Everyone else is scheduled to cheer the girls game.

Tuesday, Feb. 5~Home games vs Ben Lomond~ If you are cheering the girls game your call time is 4pm.  Wear your white uniform without the underliner.  Your hair should be in a mid height pony with your navy bow.  You may wear your navy cheer shirt to school for game day.

If you are scheduled for the boys game your call time is 4:30pm for competition team members and 6:00pm for everyone else.  Wear your white uniform without the underliner.  Your hair should be in a mid height pony with your navy or senior bow.  You can wear your navy cheer shirt to school for game day.

Competition team will have a stunting practice from 4:30pm to 6:00pm and then the rest of the team members cheering the boys game will join practice at 6:00pm to put together quarters.

Wednesday, Feb. 6~Sara's stunt group is meeting right after school to practice.  I will be there with the keys so the mats can be pulled out. I encourage competition team members to get your groups together to work skills or come help spot.

Thursday, Feb. 7~Comp Team Practice at UXC 7-9pm 

Friday, Feb. 8~Away basketball vs Stansbury.  Because of a shortage of busses we will ride with the basketball teams.  Call time TBD.  It will be earlier than normal.  When we get up there we can have the bus take us for food while we are waiting for the games to start. Wear Your navy uniform without the underliner and your white or senior bow.  I'll have Captains send out details regarding hair. You should have your cheer warm ups to keep warm.  Please no random sweats.  We need to look like a team.

Saturday, Feb. 9~ Wildcat Invitational Cheer Competition @ Weber State.  Call time 2pm @ JD.  Performances start at 6pm.  When I have our compete time I will let you know.  Waivers will be passed out at Tuesday's practice.
