We are having an ornament exchange.  Bring an ornament that is gift wrapped and then put in a plain bag like we did at camp with our secret sister gifts.  You are welcome to get any kind you would like.  We will guess at the end who you think brought the ornament you end up with.  Last year we had everything from serious ornaments to funny ones.
We also do a toy collection for Primary Children's hospital every year.  If you are able to bring an unwrapped toy to donate it would be appreciated.

Tumbling Fees
Kory gave me new statements for tumbling.  If you are not on credit card or if there was an issue with your credit card I will text you a picture of your statement on Monday and your team coach will have a hard copy for you on Tuesday.  Please bring your payment for Kory this Wednesday.  These statements are for Sept. and Oct. tumbling for both squads and gym rental fees for the comp team.   He will charge for Nov. and Dec. when we come back from Christmas break.  Kory is very good to us so lets make sure he is taken care of. 
Other outstanding balances 
You will also receive a statement if you still have an outstanding balance on your cheer account. 
Mr.  Salts will email me this week asking for the names of people with outstanding balances. If they are not taken care of by the end of the week he will put you on the fines list.  If you get a statement please take care of it as soon as possible so that doesn't happen.  Thank You!

If any stunt groups or basket groups would like to meet at open gym the coaching staff is more than willing to come and help.  Just let us know your stunt group will be there. You compete on Saturday so any extra practice would be helpful.  The cost of open gym at UXC is $5 and goes from 8-10pm.

We have 5 new boys to teach and work into the routine!  We need to set stunt groups at this practice with everyone in attendance so Coach Isabelle can start working choreography changes over the weekend and be ready to put you in your places next week. There will be less than two weeks to get ready before the first competition.

Girls we need to review dances before the boys arrive and set what performances we will do for the first home basketball halftime which is next Tuesday, half time for next Friday and the drill showcase on Saturday.

The first boys basketball game is Nov. 23rd at Stansbury High School.  Mr. Salt's daughter is on Stansbury's cheer team.  It is always fun to give him a hard time about who he is rooting for. ;)There is no school this day.  It is the first day of Thanksgiving break.  I need to make sure we have enough people in town to cheer at this game and schedule a bus if it is going to work.  Please check with your parents and let me know if you can make it or not ASAP.  Thank you!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Friends and Family Showcase is this Wednesday!!!
The showcase is this Wednesday, November 2 @ 6:30pm in the main gym.  This is a joint showcase with Utah Xtreme Cheer and JD Comp Cheer. All UXC Allstar teams will be performing along with our confirmed guest performers, JD Silverline, JD Dance Company, SJBMS Cheer, Skyline Cheer, Olympus High Cheer and West High School Cheer. The tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children.  The money raised will go towards JD Competition Team Nationals fees.
We need all the help we can get.  If your parents need high school volunteer hours this is a good opportunity.  At 1:30pm we need people to help set up the cheer floor. Around 5:15pm we need people to set up tables to sell drinks and snacks and we will need people to man the tables throughout the event.  At 6pm we will need help directing people and helping sell tickets at the door.  After it is all done we will need help tearing down the floor and cleaning up the gym.  Work gloves are recommended if you are going to help with the floor.  If your parent or a family member is able to help please let me know.  Thank you!

This is mandatory for Comp Team members.  Navy squad if you are able to help I would be grateful but it is not mandatory for you.  Comp Team routine run throughs are at 3:15pm. Arrive in full uniform with underliner on. Make sure you have all your cold gear.  Don't forget to put a plastic trash bag in your cheer bag so you have it to protect your cheer bag in case of rain.
