Updates for the first week of August!

Tumbling- Intermediate and Advanced tumbling is cancelled for this week!!!
Zak got very sick today so he will not be able to do Intermediate class. Nate has college finals this week and won't be able to do Advanced tumbling class.  If you would like to attend a tumbling class this week please take one at a local gym or feel free to join the Competition team tumbling class at Utah Xtreme Gym on Friday at 10:00 a.m. The cost is $10.00 for the hour of instruction and Kory Uyetake (the owner) is our tumbling instructor.
We will have normal practice tomorrow from 8-11 a.m. Everyone should be there until 11 a.m.

NO Leadership Meeting-
We will be changing our leadership parents meeting. It was originally scheduled for this Wed. evening. I will send a note home and post on the blog the new meeting date as soon as it is rescheduled.

ALL order forms for flip flops and decals need to be turned in tomorrow at practice!

Pom and Competition Practice-
Pom will be held this Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. Please plan on attending if you are planning on doing the pom team (No new attendees-the team is full at this time)
Competition practice will be held this Friday from 9:30-12:30. We will tumble at 10 am and work on our routine from 11-12:30. Don't forget your $10 and remind the boys! We really want to work on stunting this Friday.

NO POOL PARTY THIS WEEK- BBQ on Saturday
We will NOT be having a pool party this week since we are having a BBQ on Saturday.
This IS on the calendar.  We will NOT be inviting the football players at this time. We will schedule an event with them at a later date.  ALL cheerleaders and their parents are invited to the BBQ Social. It will be held at Lori Davis' house and flyers will come home tomorrow with all of the information.

Next Weeks Pool Party-
Will be held at Kate Knudsons and it will be a bonding activity with the silverline drill team. Bonding activities are MANDATORY! Please plan on attending.  Absences MUST be cleared ahead of time with your SQUADS coach and will only be excused for sickness or extreme situations that are out of your control.
This is a chance to mend the bridge between cheer and drill. We should be each others biggest supporters so lets have fun getting to know the drill girls. Please make them feel welcome by being friendly and sociable.
