Because of our weird game schedule this week, we have made significant changes. Please Read Carefully!!!
Practices:
Soph. squad: No practices this week (game on Wed.)
JV squad: Mon & Wed. morning 6:00-7:30 a.m. (game on Wed.)
Varsity: (no mornings this week)
Wed. from 12:45-1:45 pm.(you must be stretched and ready to practice by 12:45 so hurry!)
Fri. from 1:30-3:00 We will be learning our Halloween themed halftime! (see game info below)
Comp. team: Tues. morning 6-7 a.m. & Sat. 9-11 a.m. (Tues. we need to work on our pyramids and baskets- Sat. we need to practice our routine with all of the stunts. EVERYONE needs to attend both practices)
MANDATORY Tumbling:
Regular: Tues. night from 6-7 as usual
Advanced: Sat. at Xtreme 11-12
Please make sure you bring any past due money. We need to keep our tumbling coaches paid current.
Varsity game:
We will meet at 3:30 to get ready. We will leave the school at 4:00 to go to dinner (bring money).We will then carpool up to Judge and practice with the Judge cheerleaders. You need to be in your uniform (with underliner) hair done before we leave the school. Hair in high pony with poof and pink bow. Wear your "pink"socks and spankies.You can wear your travel gear to Judge.(you don't need to wear your skirt to dinner if you are wearing your travel pants)
Varsity: Next Monday the 24th, Varsity will be participating in the KUTV Live broadcast from JD. It will be from 5:30-8:40 a.m. We need to be in our Halloween themed game attire! (the undead cheerleaders)
We will also use our down time during the broadcast to work on our Halloween half time routine.Varsity will NOT have practice on Tues. morning (we will have single base stunting practice only on that Tues.)
I do not know what day our play off game will be yet! Please get to bed early on Monday night!!!!
Don't forget about the MANDATORY Bonding Activity on your calendar for this Friday night! Info about your squads plans will be sent by your captains! (anyone who does not attend will receive an unexcused absence)

Comp practice and advanced tumbling time change!
Comp practice will be from 8-10 am tomorrow to allow for the boys to attend. (at Xtreme)
WE NEED EVERYONE TO ATTEND (we need to space all the new changes on the full comp floor and work on the stunts and pyramids) Bring your $5 for gym time.
Advanced Tumbling will be from 10-11 (Don't forget your $10 and any past money owed-You should have paid $10 last week not $5)

Awareness/Senior Night
Just an update for this week's Varsity game.
Senior recognition will be done pre game. Please come early to support the Seniors.
Senior Parents will need to be in the North end zone by 6:30.
We will also be honoring breast cancer awareness month by wearing the "pink" items we have purchased. If you have not paid for these items, you must bring your money on Thursday morning. Money is also past due for the pink spankies if you did not return your white pair. (These items must be paid for before you can take them)
Please encourage people to wear pink to the game and make sure you do not lose your "pink" items since we will re use them for our kids clinic during the basketball season.

We have 5 weeks left of practice. It's time to get serious if we are going to be ready!
(All uniform orders, makeup and trave gear bags for both girls and boys have been ordered and should arrive the first part of November. Please make sure you bring your accounts current in order to receive these items) Make sure you use the sheet I handed out last practice to add your competition dates to your calendar and give a copy to your parents. We will have a comp team meeting later this month to go over travel arrangements for Nationals.

Varsity- Plan on wearing your underliners and tall socks with your uniform. Hair in braid with high pony!
Bring everything! You may bring a no show or navy sweatshirt to wear under your travel gear in case it's cold. We will board the bus at 5:15. Be ready before you board the bus! You can wear your travel gear on the bus (you don't have to wear your skirt but you need to have your shell on under your travel gear.)
Tumbling- Tues and Sat as usual.
Please remember that tumbling is MANDATORY!!! School projects/homework, babysitting, work, not having a ride, etc. will NOT be considered for excused absences. Please refresh yourself with the rules about what is considered excused!
All Balances on the statements sent home last week are over due! These need to be brought current! Please remind your parents. (These balance will need to be paid in order to take your semester exams in December)
ALL orders for Parent items MUST be turned in by Thursday morning with payment. The order will be placed on Thurs. afternoon
Cheer team will be sized for sweastshirts this week. Orders will be placed this week and any balance due after kids clinic credits will be due next week.
We will be promoting breast cancer awareness month. All squad members need to bring $10 each for the purchase of pink bows and pink cheer socks. These will be yours to keep. (We will be using these again during our basketball season so DO NOT lose them) 20% of the purchase price of these items will be donated to breast cancer research. We will use them during a football game (tbd by coaches)
