6/25-7/30

Great Job at Cheer Camp!
I know that you all are exhausted, sore, and bruised.  It is a long three days of pushing yourself to improve your skills but over the course of the three days we saw many accomplishments and improvements.  Way to go JD Cheer! This week we will concentrate on knowing the material you were taught at camp and cleaning it up so we are ready for the first football game that is only a few weeks after we return from summer break.  
Summer Break!
Over the summer break please try to keep your bodies conditioned and make sure you are reviewing all the material you have learned.  Keeping your bodies in shape will help minimize injuries upon returning to cheer.  You need to know all the cheers, sidelines and halftime dances to cheer at a game or be in a halftime performance so make sure you practice on your own or get together with teammates to review the material over the break. All the material will be put on the teams Dropbox.
Don't forget your payment before break!
We need these payments in the account to cover the rest of your uniform cost and to order warm ups for our new members. Below is a break down of how much you owe if you have not already paid in full.
If you are a returning team member that is not on the comp team you owe $125.00
If you are a new team member you owe $250.00
If you are a returning team member who is on comp team you owe $250.00

Tuesday, June 26, Practice @ JD in the Aux gym 5:30-8:30pm ~ Wear your spirit jersey and navy spanks. 

Wednesday, June 27,  Practice @ JD in the Aux gym 5:30-8:30pm ~ Wear your pink tank, custom sports bra, and charcoal shorts.

Friday, June 29, Tumbling @ UXC ~ 2:30-4:30pm for non comp team members ~ 2:30-5:30pm for comp team members.  Wear your UXC camp shirt with either black or white shorts.  Camp shirts will be handed out Tuesday at practice.

Saturday, June 30 - Monday, July 30 ~ Summer break ~ Make sure you are staying conditioned, practicing all material that has been taught, and working on tumbling skills. See you on Tuesday, July 31!

YAY! It is the week of cheer camp! :)

Please remember to text me your Jimmy John's sandwich order for the first day of camp and your choices for Noodles on the third day.

Make sure you are hydrating and resting this week.  Cheer camp is very tiring.  It is best to prep yourself ahead of time to help prevent dehydration and injury.

Tuesday, June 19, Bonding at Isabelle's house 7:30-9:30pm.  Please find detailed information on the GroupMe

Thursday, June 21, First day of UXC cheer camp. Please arrive at 8:45am so you are ready to start at 9am. Camp starts at 9am and ends at 4pm each day. This will be our warmest day. Please wear your pink tank top with the custom sports bra. Your charcoal grey shorts, low white socks, and cheer shoes.  Your hair should be in a high pony with your white scrunchie.  Make sure your hair is secure with other hair ties first and slicked back.  It should be game ready. Do not forget your secret sister gift! Today is socks. Wrap the gift and put your secret sisters name on it.  DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME ON IT! Put it in another plain bag to hide the wrapping so no one can guess who brought what gift.  The coaches will take them out when you are all busy. Check the list and make sure you bring any snack or lunch items you signed up for.

Friday, June 22, Day two of UXC cheer camp.  Please arrive at 8:45am.  Wear your navy t-shirt, white shorts, low white socks, and cheer shoes.  Your hair should be in a low pony.  Make sure it is game day ready.  Wear your white scrunchie.  Don't forget your secret sister gifts!  Today's gift is favorite snack and candy.  Same instructions as above.  Check the sign up sheet and make sure you bring the item you signed up for.

Saturday, June 23,  Last day of UXC cheer camp.  Please arrive at 8:45am.  Wear your spirit shirt, navy shorts, low white socks, and cheer shoes.  Your hair should be in a mid height pony with your navy scrunchie. Game day ready. Don't forget your secret sister gift and anything else you signed up for.
