Banquet

This week I will work on the end of year banquet.  I will get the information to you as soon as possible.

Tumbling @ UXC

Tumbling will be on Wednesday from 2-4pm at UXC

This tumbling is for team members who plan on trying out for next years team.  If you are trying out in April for JD Cheer I expect to see you at tumbling on Wednesdays.  We will be starting a new year and need to get caught up financially with UXC.  If you still owe Kory money please bring it this Wednesday.  

Until we have the new team set up for tumbling with Kory you will need to bring $10 to each tumbling session unless you are on credit card.  Thank You!

State Basketball Tournament

I don't believe drill will be performing any of the halftimes for the State Tournament so we will need to put some halftimes together. As a coaching staff we feel it will be more impressive to perform all together.  Tuesday and Wednesday we will have combined practices.  

Looking at the schedule there is a good chance we may have to spend the night on Friday.  There is a possibility of a late Friday night game and early Saturday game.  If we need to stay overnight there will be a cost associated with it for the hotel rooms.  In addition to your rooms we are also responsible to get a room for the bus driver.  If we have to stay overnight I believe the cost would be around $50 per cheerleader.  I will know more tomorrow when I return to work and can talk to our administrators.  I just want to give you a heads up.  

The last item to be aware of is if you have missed a lot of school or do not have grades the counselors have told me they will not approve you missing school for the tournament.  Tomorrow Kara and I will be checking to see if everyone is eligible to check out for the games. Please make sure you are in school this week so we don't have any issues with you checking out.

If you are unable to cheer at the State Tournament please let me know so we can prepare accordingly.  Thank you!

It is very important that you attend all practices leading up to these competitions!

Attend the girls basketball game starting at 7pm and stay at least until half time.
Girls wear your gray cheer shirt, the gray and blue track shorts, white socks and your hair in a slicked back pony with your white bow.
We received a special request from the girls basketball parents to attend.  They want a good student section because it is Senior night and a very important game determining region. We can't skip comp practice because of our competitions so I thought this would be a good compromise.
